Some people - event hosts spend alot of time and resources planning life-changing events, but sometimes alot of people do not know why they should even attend these events (leaving out other factors). In turn, events receive less turnouts than they should because most of their audience do not see the need to be present at events. Lots of opportunities and freebies gonee, yep you heard it. The things is, there are actually many different channels in building a network but one of the most effective way is to attend events. Remember that networking is all about making new friends and connections. It is not necessary to try to sell yourself or your services right away.
Plus, it’s not that complex 👀. Just be open minded, be willing to listen, be ready to share your ideas with other people, be sincere, show genuine interest in others, and be willing to give as well as receive. This will assist you in developing a strong and long-lasting network that will benefit you both personally and professionally.

You can learn pretty much anythings nowadays (even how to wear socks effectively — really?). But events offer a more interactive environment in which people get to learn new skills that will benefit them in their life, studies, or future career prospects. And can be particularly useful for learning practical skills or gaining hands-on experience.
The importance of schools, online courses and so on cannot be overemphasized, but unfortunately we live in a society where people really do not know that attending events can make education more relatable and valuable to their lives.
